All new systems must first sign and authorize this contract in advance of shipping and delivery. Existing customers must agree and abide by the guidelines provided for ongoing monitoring.
The minimum monitoring period for new systems is one year. The monthly fee will begin on the nearest first of the month to acceptance of the delivery. The price will be agreed upon and fixed in advance of shipping and will remain constant for the duration of the contract. Monitoring is based on a feature by feature basis whereby adding features may increase the monthly fee.
Should the contract be terminated in advance of the first year, a penalty will apply, equal to the balance due for the 1 year contract, plus $100.00. A valid credit card must be provided to be utilized for monthly payments. In case of early termination the amount mentioned above will be withdrawn from the credit card provided.
In case of a terminated credit card, a new credit card must immediately be provided. If there is a delay in this process we may double bill the time in arrears at our discretion. After the first year, customers are encouraged to switch to ACH billing.
At the one year mark, every customer acquires a month to month status, whereby they may cancel without penalty at any time, so long as we receive a thirty day courtesy notice by voice, email or text in advance. Service will continue without interruption unless specified by the customer, or unless payment is not received. After the end of the 1st year contract, High Level Alarms reserves the right to request a monthly increase, 30 days in advance of any payment due and may terminate any customer not in compliance.
Monitoring will be provided by a twenty-four hour Central Station enlisted by High Level Alarms. When alarm conditions are received, Central will make every attempt to notify the call list as indicated in the separate Central Station Data Form. If for any reason, Central should fail to complete this task, neither High Level Alarms, nor the Central Station will be held liable, or responsible. Alarm equipment is purchased and owned and it is the owners responsibility to assure proper operation via testing regularly, or monthly.
This contract does not imply or guarantee that a break-in, or other mishap cannot occur. Should you move to a new location, you may move the system with you and monitoring will continue without interruption. We will update your new information at no charge.
At no time will this system be programmed by anyone other than High Level Alarms, which does not include customer programmable portions of the control. You hereby authorize High Level Alarms to cancel your service, if and when monitoring has not been paid as due.
Your subscription also confirms that you understand and agree that this is a legally binding contract that begins upon your subscribing. Validation of a working credit card may be conducted by immediate withdrawal, at our option, in the amount of one dollar, that will not be refundable.
I understand and agree to all of the above and authorize immediate payment due for any parts purchased, or for monthly monitoring fees. Should PayPal or credit card subscription be halted for any reason, I authorize the balance of the remaining contract to be paid in full from this credit card. Unless originally specified, all normal payments will be by credit card or ACH.
